The Holiday Season is upon us, and we want to wish all
the Members, and their Families a Wonderful Holiday Season, and a very
Outstanding New Year.
The National Convention in
Rhode Island was Held, and everyone seemed to have a very good time
enjoying old friendships, and attending to the rabbit show. Presently,
many members are already preparing for the 3rd National
Flemish Show in California, at Allen, and Tammy Bush’s nice Home, and
also the National Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. In the fall. Both
shows will be dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of the
Flemish Federation. (1915 to 2005). Preparations are being made to
insure that both Shows are very special, and we ask the members to try
to attend, and enjoy both of them.
Because Indianapolis is more
centralized in the United States, we expect a very large entry of
Flemish Giants. For those individuals that were unable to attend the
Rhode Island Convention, but would like to donate money specials for
this great show, send it to Allen Bush, Sec. /Trea. In California.
(Thank you for your support).
A Special Thanks to all
those that dug in and helped work at the National Convention. Those
that Dedicate their time for others are very Value Added Members of our
Organization. If you find the Time Thank Them. To name a few that help
insure the Success of the Show: Frank & Judy Welsh, Mabel Tobias &
Daughter Sue, Pete Stephens & Son-in-Law Bobbie Melton, John & Barb
Trone, Bill Mairs, Tom Orr, Juan Perez, Kathy Bomia, Emily Carter, and
as always Allen and Tammy Bush. The Work included motel, and banquet
facilities, obtaining awards, setting up and working at the Flemish
Booth, writing at the tables, and in general attending to the Rabbit
Business. (Good Job by All and all others that helped but not
listed.).
Tom Orr has volunteered to
obtain Motel, and Banquet facilities for the Federation members for the
National Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. Thanks to Tom for his
assistance, and more details will be made available at a latter date.
Our Federation has one of
the Best World Class Web Sites, and is one of the Best in The ARBA.
Presently we have had 75, 000 plus visits to this communications tool
that has become the hub of interest for our members. Visit the Site at
http://www.nffgrb.net, and enjoy. Cathy Caracciolo is doing a great
job as our new Web master following in the footsteps of Jeff Mullinax.
Thank you Cathy for your helping the Flemish Federation.
Remember to get your Bids in
for the 2006, 4th National Flemish Show by March of 2005.
Hoping our outstanding director, John Trone is feeling better after
having to spend time in the hospital during the Convention. Enjoy the
upcoming Shows, and until we see you at them, may your nest boxes be
full of Grand Champions.
