By Allen Bush, Secretary

As I write this letter, the spring show season is nearly ended and everyone is bracing for a long hot summer.  Our election will be running by the time you read this letter.  Bob Bomia is our President for another 4 years.  We have five candidates running for three Director Positions.  You can find information about the candidates in the June newsletter.  We are going to include a comment section on the ballot this year.  Please vote in the upcoming election.  We will be using numbered ballots to ensure the accuracy of our election.  The guidebook is nearing completion.  We have secured a printer to make the books.  The Bomia’s and the Bolyard’s are doing a review and the first draft will be sent to the printer.  We are looking into a special family membership rate for our members.  Also being discussed is a double bonus point system for selected Specialty Shows throughout the Flemish community.  We will start the beginning of our new “Youth Sweepstakes” on July 1, 2003.  Please send me pictures and updates for the September newsletter.  I need any articles, Rabbitry advertisements and Specialty Club advertisements by September 1st.
